AgIntegrated’s suite of solutions, Onsite, and why ADT is important to AGI’s business

AgIntegrated’s (AGI’s) role in agricultural data management sits outside the realm of typical Farm Management Systems. Instead of providing services directly to growers, AGI provides their services to other companies that deal directly with growers.

“We don’t store or sell data, make agronomic decisions, or compete with Farm Management Information Systems,” explains Travis Hammer, Director of Sales and Marketing. “We handle the data for these groups much like water pipes do underground and out of sight. We help connect, organize, translate, validate, and integrate data and work with over 60 different systems and software within the Ag industry.”

At its core, AGI is a team of experienced professionals that believes in connecting people with the data they use every day. What started out as software development making custom solutions for clients in 2007 evolved into AgIntegrated’s integration suite of solutions, Onsite. “After we started building custom solutions for agri-businesses, we realized the growing need to help improve and enable data collection for the industry,” says Hammer.  “We still partner with clients on custom projects, and we also tailor the Onsite suite to clients’ needs.”

On an average day, AGI translates over 500k files for clients. This number is even higher during peak season. To date AGI has processed and translated well over 500 million files from 6 continents and 30 countries and are continually expanding into other countries. With that much data flowing, transparent data management practices are imperative.

“Being transparent in how we work with precision ag data that is created and managed by our clients and their users is very important to us. With this, we saw a need from our clients to help them understand not only our openness in working with data but show them our moral responsibility in how we handle other data to form trust and showcase responsibility.”

In 2016, AGI chose Ag Data Transparent to help communicate this priority to its customers. Because of the nature of its clientele, AGI has used ADT to ensure any third-party companies they work with are also handling their customers’ data appropriately. And that reassurance goes both ways.

“Since most of our customers are other software and service providers, they definitely appreciate our working with ADT,” says Hammer.

Proper management of ag data is just as important to many of those helping growers as it is to the growers themselves. AGI knows this and helps to reassure its clients with the ADT seal.
