3. Ownership
Do the tech company’s agreements with the user address ownership of user data?
Yes. All end user data remains the property of the end user (person who created and granted permission to access the data).

4. Transparency in Aggregation
Does the tech company allow the user to opt out of inclusion in anonymized and aggregated datasets that are accessible by other users?
Not applicable. Leaf has the right to anonymize and aggregate data from its customers under Section 5.3 of Leaf’s terms. However, no aggregated data is accessible by other users.

Does the tech company require outside contractors that have access to user data to follow the tech company’s data policies?
Yes. Any outside contractors that have access to user data have to follow our data policies.

Yes. By accepting Leaf’s terms and conditions and privacy policy when signing their contract with Leaf, users agree that Leaf may do so.

8. Portability
Does the tech company maintain an original copy of user data that can be retrieved or deleted upon a user’s request?
No. We do not keep an original copy of user data (it just passes through our API)
